In 2005, tournament angler Derek Mullins started pouring his own soft plastics in his garage in Broad Ripple. The local bait shops couldn't keep them in stock. Word spread through the Indiana B.A.S.S. circuit, and Hoosier Fishing Lure was born.
Today we operate a 2,800 sq ft workshop on East 86th Street with 6 full-time lure makers. Every bait is still handmade, hand-painted, and tank-tested before it ships. Derek personally develops every new colorway on the water at Geist Reservoir, Morse Lake, and Eagle Creek.
